One of the largest providers of women’s and newborn healthcare in the Republic of Ireland, The Coombe Hospital cares for up to 8,000 pregnant women every year. More than 1,000 newborns are admitted to its neonatal unit, while over 7,000 gynaecology surgical procedures are performed annually. The hospital provides comprehensive care for women and newborns at local, regional and national level, as well as a range of highly specialised services in high risk maternal and fetal medicine, newborn medicine, anaesthesia and gynaecology.
